High contrast Far-Infrared and Mid-Infrared Polarizer P03
High contrast polarizer for the far-infrared and complete mid-infrared simultaneously. High-frequency limit is extended to typically 5000cm-1 or 2μm. A polarization contrast of Tp/Ts = 10,000 : 1 is reached.
Very high degree of polarization P = (Tp - Ts)/(Tp + Ts) > 99.99%
Thin, compact, rotable
Wide wavelength range > 250μm to 2μm (equivalent to 40 ..... 5000cm-1)
Complete and continuous mid-ir to far-ir-coverage
No substrate - there is no beam deviation and no substrate dependent dispersion
Ideal for 1.2 to 150THz spectroscopy
Standard clear apertures: 13 and 25mm diameter, new: 18.4mm

High contrast Infrared Polarizer P02
Free-standing grid array polarizer for the far-infrared and mid-infrared. Patented design extends high-frequency limit by one order of magnitude to typically 2500cm-1 or 4μm. A polarization contrast better than Tp/Ts = 10,000 : 1 is reached.
